Is it safe to use this while driving?
No — mount the phone, don’t interact while driving. Have a passenger tap Start or start before you drive. This is a supplementary reference, not a replacement for your car’s speedometer.
Why does GPS speed differ from my dashboard?
Car dashboards are calibrated to read a few percent high for legal safety. At steady speed on open road GPS is often closer to true speed, but can lag in tunnels.
